Erin Pietsch is an artist whose work with porcelain allows for limitless creativity, resulting in unique and captivating pieces. Living in the North West, Erin finds constant inspiration in the natural world-whether it is a quiet walk along a riverbank, a trail through the woods or a visit to the pacific ocean.  These everyday moments fuel her passion for creating, as she listens to the form, and lets the materials guide her, allowing each piece to evolve into something new and unexpected.  

Erin's approach to her work is one of balance and intentionality.  She believes that every part of a piece, whether it is the intricate details of a hand formed mask, or the delicate side branches of a six foot porcelain tree, must work together cohesively. For her, the process is about much more than just visual appeal-it's about harmony and function within the overall creation.

Her talent has earned her numerous accolades, including multiple Best in Show and Best in Ceramics awards across the nation.  Erins' work is shown expansively across the nation, including  galleries in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Michigan, Ohio as well as permanent collections in Utah.  Each of her pieces is a testament to her dedication to craftsmanship, form, and the natural world.
